The weather in Yellowstone Park was quite varied all day long. From rain to heavy snow, dry to snowy roads, thick clouds to sunshine, chilly to pleasant.

We are seeing a few bulls with cows. But most of the bulls are grouping up together. We saw a huge bull in Mammoth right at the edge of the road. We still hear bugling once in a while and saw 2 bulls sparring. We saw about 400 elk at Hellroaring with a few bulls running around and bugling. The spikes and rag horns are all mixed in too. It is wonderful to see so many elk. We saw a large group coming out of the trees at Sough Creek. more…
