The clouds were like a prism in the early dawn glow. The vibration of new light and wildlife drew us into the peaceful calm along the Madison. Two beautiful deer greeted us on the road and bounced off as a streak of coyote fur gave chase. We saw a few cow elk and a beautiful young calf. The two bald eagles are perched on their nest.
Our early morning drive through Island Park and into Yellowstone Park was beautiful as we saw elk, deer and coyote. The fog was intriguing to the children.
The drive to Yellowstone Park was a little foggy in the early morning. By 8:00 it was beautiful, sunny and warming up. We saw elk and deer and they all looked so beautiful. At Tower we watched the 2 baby owls in the tree trunk. Our six year old granddaughter enjoyed the day with us and was so excited to see all the animals.
The moon is full and very bright this morning. By 4:30 the sky is beginning to lighten and by 5:30 the sky is very bright and clear.
