Yellowstone Lake is the largest high altitude freshwater lake in North America. Situated at 7,733 feet, the lake measures 136 square miles with 110 miles of shoreline. You can take a scenic boat cruise, rent a boat or hire a fishing guide. It is a beautiful lake in an incredible setting.

The day was beautiful and warm when we rented a boat at the marina and fished on Yellowstone Lake. There are memories too of teenage boys canoeing into the primitive areas of the lake where there is an abundance of wildlife.
